Common questions
How hard is the EPA 608 exam?
It is a rules exam, not a skills exam. You need about 70% to pass, roughly 18 of 25 questions per section. Most people who fail answer how the job is done on site rather than what the regulation actually requires.
How many questions are on the EPA 608 test?
Twenty-five per section. Core is required for every certification, then you sit Type I, Type II and/or Type III. Passing Core plus all three types gives you Universal certification.
